Memorial services will be held for Anna Mae Brown, 90, Coos Bay, at noon on Saturday, Dec. 9 at the First Baptist Church with G. Thomas Colby officiating. Private committal was held Nov. 28 at Sunset Memorial Park.
She was born March 12, 1899 in Emerson, Manitoba, Canada, and died Nov. 28, 1989, at Coos Bay.
She had lived in the area since 1906. Mrs. Brown was a graduate of Marshfield High School. She loved flowers and was a member of the Coos Bay Garden Club.
Survivors include her son, George L. Brown of Coos Bay; sisters, Ada Taylor and Dorothy Titus of Coos Bay, and Lillian Hargett and Hazel Hargett of San Pedro, Calif.; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George in 1975.
