Funeral services will be held 11 am Thursday, January 15, 2009, from the chapel of Wright & Ferguson Funeral Home High Street. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 14, 2009, from 5 pm till 7 pm and Thursday from 10 am till 11 am. Graveside services will be at 3:30 pm Thursday at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Starkville, MS.
Mrs. Brown was an active member at Christ United Methodist Church in Jackson since 1970.
She was born and raised in Starkville and had been living in Jackson since 1970.
Survivors include: her two sons, William H. Brown and wife, Michelle and Richard K. Brown and wife, Karen; daughter-in-law, Laurie Brown; and four grandchildren, Dalton, Morgan, Trevor, and Chase.
Memorial may be sent to the Diabetes Foundation of Miss., 800 Avery Blvd. Site 100, Ridgeland, MS 39157.
