Born to Octavia Hebert and Jim Broussard, baptized in the Catholic Church, she remained a devoted Catholic Christian during her entire life.
When St. Mary's, the Mother Church in Orange divided, she and her husband Paul dutifully became parishioners of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Orange.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Adonis Lancon and their two infant daughters, her husband who she married on November 4, 1939, Paul A. Bourliea, daughter, Joe Hazel Bourliea Stonecipher and one son, Terry Lee Matthew Bourliea, two brothers, Harry Broussard and Willie Broussard and three sisters, Bernice Rogers, Evalina Owens and Lena Mae Taylor.
She was survived by her daughters, Eula Campbell and Mary Ann Staudt and husband Sidney and son Larry James Bourliea and wife Rita; twelve grandsons, seven granddaughters, thirty one great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren; and brother, Irving Broussard and wife Gertrude.
