WINNFIELD, June 16 (Special) -- Mrs. Mary F. Brooks, 65, died at 8 a.m. today in a local hospital after a long illness.
Services will be held at 4 p.m. Monday at Winnfield Methodist Church with the pastor, the Rev. Luther Booth, officiating. Burial will be in Winnfield Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home.
Mrs. Brooks was a native of Lincoln Parish and lived here the last 45 years.
Survivors include two sons, J. C. and Morris L. Brooks, both of Winnfield, and a daughter, Mrs. Lucille Taylor of West Monroe.
