Rennie was the daughter of Richard Dawson & Margaret (Gahagan) Brogan, she married Joseph Raymond Eversman of Gladstone, Illinois on September 22, 1932 at St. Paul, Kansas. His first wife Mollie died young they had some children together.
Rennie started teaching in 1911 at Prairie View #47, later on she became a nurse. Joseph and Rennie lived in Emmitsburg, Canada for many years. They had no children.
