She was the wife of Stanley Brock, whom she married on May 10, 1947.
Born Jan. 26, 1930, in Lincoln County, Ky., she was a daughter of the late Ivan and Oma Griffin Denson. Dorothy was a faithful member of Ephesus Baptist Church. She was an avid quilter and loved to can.

She also enjoyed working in her flowers, watching and feeding hummingbirds, and loved her loyal cat, Oreo.
Survivors Include her husband of 66 years, Stanley Brock of Crab Orchard; a daughter, Barbara (Eddie) Foley of Walton, Ky.; three sons, Jerry (Loretta) Brock of Stanford, Dennis (Carol) Brock of Williamstown, Ky., and Roy (Barbara) Brock of Crab Orchard; a brother, Frances Denson of Crab Orchard; 10 grandchildren; and 22 great- grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by four brothers, Cecil, Eugene, Charlie and Jimmy Denson; and three sisters, Ruth and Eva Denson, and Bertha Hendrickson.
Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at McKnight Funeral Home Chapel officiated by Bro. Chester Cornett and Bro. Dan Gutenson. Burial will be in Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery. funeral home obit
