Obituary: Jimmie Drew Brock, 63, of Bedford, IN, died Friday April 8 at his residence. Born November 13, 1947 in Bedford, he was the son of James Harold and Elsie Lorrain (Kern) Brock. Jimmie married Nancy Prunty on February 18, 1967. He was a farmer,and a card carrying Journeyman at General Motors Central Foundry. Jimmie was a member of the UAW. Survivors include his wife Nancy Brock of 44 years; two sons, Jeffrey Harold Brock of Bedford, and James Drew "J.D." Brock and wife Amber of Bedford, one daughter, Lori Brock of Bedford; one brother, Kenny Brock of Bedford; two sisters, Mona Cobb and husband Denver of Bedford; two grandchildren Matthew and Hannah whom Jimmie raised; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Jimmy was preceeded in death by his parents; one daughter, Toni Anne Brock; and one grandson Jacob Brock. Day and Carter was in charge of burial on Tuesday April 12, 2011.
