Buhl Rich Broadbent passed away on Friday, February 11, 2011 at Mountain West Medical Center in Tooele, Utah. He resided at 322 Joshua Avenue in Tooele, Utah at the time of his death.

Buhl was born August 17, 1930 in Afton, Wyoming, the fourth child of John Elmer and Jean Allred Rich Broadbent.

He married Audrey Marie Baker on June 30, 1956 in Idaho Falls, Idaho. Their marriage was solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS temple on November 17, 1972. Audrey preceded Buhl in death on November 3, 1995. We rejoice in their reunion. Dad and Mom raised seven sons.
The family was mobile before mobile became popular, living in Idaho, California, and Utah. They finally settled in Tooele, Utah, where Dad worked for the United States Postal Service. Dad was a hard worker and expected his sons to work hard as well.

Dad and Mom enjoyed travel and wintering in Arizona after Dad retired. More recently, since Mom's passing, Dad has enjoyed spending time with Ellen Larsen. They enjoyed plays at Hale Centre Theatre, the opera in Logan, BYU Education Week, and excursions to various temples.

Buhl is survived by his sister Vera Call, brother Norville (Leoyce) Broadbent, and five sons, Terry (Verna), Kenneth Wynia, John (Tisa), Dennis (Mary), and Karl, twenty-one grandchildren, and twenty-four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister Lorna Calton, brother Wayne, and sons Jimmy Wynia and Keith Broadbent.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Tooele Twenty-Sixth Ward Chapel, 1025 West Utah Avenue. A viewing will be held on Monday, February 14, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Tate Mortuary, 110 South Main Street, Tooele, Utah. A viewing prior to the services will be held from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the Church.
