She was born June 10, 1936, in Cleveland County, a daughter of the late Floyd Broach and Roxie Carr Broach.
She was a homemaker and a member of Temple Baptist Church at Fordyce.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Mack Atkins; and a sister, Doris Smith.
Survivors include two sons, the Rev. Tony Atkins of Kingsland and Marlon Atkins of Casper, Wyoming; a brother, Carl Broach of Fordyce; and three grandchildren.
