Mrs. Swope was born January 13, 1934, in Frankfort, to Cyrus and Gladys M. (Wall) Brittain. She married Donald "Bert" Swope on August 9, 1953, and he preceded her in death on November 4, 2003.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; one brother, James Brittain; and three sisters, Julia Zerfas, Delores Tidler and Sally McElwee.
Burial will be in Green Lawn Cemetery.
