Doris Bleed, 91, of Rockford, IL passed away on Friday November 4, 2011 at Fairhaven Christian Retirement Home in Rockford.
She was born October 6, 1920 in Durand, IL the daughter of Orvin and Laura Brinker, she married Wallace Bleed on June 13, 1941, he preceded her in death on October 18, 2008 after 67 years of marriage.
She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Doris is survived by four sons; Ron (Bess) Bleed, Terry (Gail) Bleed, Randy Bleed and Jeff (Laura) Bleed. Also surviving are eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Doris was a member of Maywood Evangelical Free Church in Rockford.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at Maywood Evangelical Free Church in Rockford; visitation will take place one hour prior to services. Entombment will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Machesney, Park.
