Karen Bright Bohannon, 63, of Pleasureville, Kentucky, died on January 14, 2014 at Norton Hospital in Louisville. She was born in Defoe, Kentucky, and was the daughter of the late Elbert Bright, Sr. and Nellie (Wheeler) Bright. She was retired from the Commonwealth of Kentucky Department of Transportation. She is survived by her husband, one son, one daughter, one sister, three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral: January 18, 2014 at Sholar Funeral Home of Pleasureville.
