OKLAHOMA CITY Bill Briggs, 80, passed away on September 1, 2013 in Oklahoma City.
Life:
Bill was born July 8, 1933 in Leonard, TX to Bryan and Willie Briggs.
He served briefly in the military and worked at John A. Browns, Streets, and Firestone Tire before his retirement.
Bill was a member of St. James Catholic Church.
Family:
He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy Briggs in December 2012;
and by six brothers and sisters.
Bill is survived by a step-daughter Anne Mycek of State College, PA;
2 granddaughters; and
a sister Ruth Burns of Terrell, TX.
