His greatest desire is to see everyone he loves in heaven. Jack received his electrical engineering doctoral degree from NCSU in 1969.
He went on to improve methods for manufacturing computer chips and succeeded quickly in the semi-conductor industry.
He traveled the world. In 1985-86, he attended Denver Seminary where he earned a counseling degree.
In 1992, he returned to Raleigh and started Bridges Christian Counseling Center. He eventually returned to his roots where he retired in 2003 from NCSU's IT Department.
Survived by his wife, Joy, his children- Jan, Roger, Dana, & Chris Bridges and Joy's children Todd and Laura Holbert, also by his mother Erleen Bridges and his brothers and sisters Dianne Howard, Bobby Bridges, Peggy Jones, Mike Bridges, Dona Thomas, and Jo Ann Canady, and their families.
