Michael Scott "Nonkie" Brewster, age 33 of Ft. Walton Beach, FL died Saturday, November 26, 2011 at an Okaloosa, FL medical facility from injuries sustained in an automobile, pedestrian accident. He was born November 26, 1978 at Fort Campbell, KY and was the son of Yvonne Brewster of Ft. Walton Beach, FL and the late Michael Lee Brewster. Scotty was a graduate of the Virginia National Guard's Commonwealth Challenge Youth Academy. He also attended the Lynchburg Job Corps, where he received certification in plumbing. In 2001 Scotty moved to the Crestview – Ft. Walton Beach, FL area where he was employed by PSI Plumbing, and Kitchen and Bath. He was a proud member of the DKC. He was loved by all and will be missed by many.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Ambrose Brewster; maternal grandfather, Garrett Brewster; maternal grandmother, Virginia Irene Wilson.

In addition to his mother, survivors include his wife, Mandy Clark Brewster of San Antonio, TX; two sons, Aidan Michael Brewster and Jacob Hans Lucian Brewster, both of San Antonio, TX; one sister, Krystal Kikta and husband, Austin of Ft. Walton Beach, FL; maternal grandmother, Frieda Josephine Brewster of Newhall, WV; his special brothers in the DKC; many other family members, and many friends also survive.

Funeral services for Michael Scott "Nonkie" Brewster will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the Newhall Bible Church in Newhall, WV with Pastor John Webb officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memory Gardens in Bluefield, VA. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at the Church from 6 – 9 p.m. Friday, December 2, 2011.
