Ronnie Lee was the daughter of Naomi Brewer. She was married to Murphy Strickland and to Sanford Allen, Sr.

The following was taken from the Apr. 21, 2007 edition of THE ROBESONIAN:

Ronnie Lee Allen, 85, of 670 Deep Branch Road, died April 14, 2007, at home.

The funeral will be 3 p.m. Sunday at Elizabeth Heights Baptist Church, the Revs. C.C. Allen Jr., Ricky Burnette and Doug Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Lumbee Memorial Gardens.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Sanford Allen; a daughter, Flora Ann Allen; her mother, Naomi Locklear; a brother, Will Avery Locklear; and a grandson, Ron Jacobs Allen.

Surviving are four daughters, Annie Lois Carmody of Fayetteville, Mary Lois Locklear of Red Springs, ** and **, both of Lumberton; four sons, ** Allen of Statesville, ** Allen, ** Allen and Sanford "Pete" Allen Jr., all of Lumberton; five sisters, Juanita Sampson and Pansy Sampson, both of Lumberton, ** of Charlotte, Zelma Maynor of Red Springs and ** of Pembroke; four brothers, all of Lumberton; 31 grandchildren; 59 great-grandchildren; and 26 great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Revels Funeral Home in Lumberton.
