Lucy E. Hiatt, daugher of Newton and Sara Hiatt, was born in Tama County, Iowa, May 22, 1863 and passed on May 3, 1928 at the age of 64 years, 11 months and 11 days.
She with her parents moved to Harper County, Kansas in 1876 where she married to Edward Brewer, April 3, 1881. She with her husband moved to Woods County, Okla. in March of 1894, where they lived for about eleven years, then they came to Ellis County, Okla. and settled on a farm near Fargo, in December 1905, where she lived until death clamed her. Eight children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Brewer, five whom have preceeded her to the great beyond. William, Pearl, Bertha, Clem and Ira.
She leaves to mourn her loss, her husband and son Clarence of Fargo, Okla., Mrs. John Benger of Beaver City, Okla., Mrs. Charles Kelley of Iowa Park, Texas, several grandchildren, other relatives and a host of friends.
