Christa G.E. (Helbing) Bressette, 79, entered into eternal life surrounded by her family on December 20, 2012 at Wingate of Hampden. She was born August 3, 1933 in Miltenberg, Germany to the late Friedrich and Elly (Willand) Helbing. She moved to the United States in 1955 at age 21 to marry her loving husband, Ronald E. Bressette. Christa is survived by her daughter, Diana J. and her 2 sons, Daniel G. and his girlfriend, Linda, Martin J. and his wife, Megan; and her faithful dog, Georgie. She will also be missed by her sisters, Ursula Alexander and husband, Russell, Hannah Sheaffe, Wiltrut Bentrott, Heidi Schrottky and husband, Kurt, Berta Scheweinberger, and her sister-in-law, Eunice L. (Bressette) Bisnette and husband, Alfred; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Christa was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Richard E. Bressette and his wife, Doris (Higney). Services will be Friday, Dec. 28 beginning from the MOTYKA FUNERAL HOME, 2186 MAIN ST, THREE RIVERS at 9:15 AM, followed by a Liturgy of Christian Burial in Divine Mercy Parish at 10 AM. Burial will be in St. Anne's Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday, Dec. 27 from 5PM to 7PM at the funeral home. The family would like to thank the staff at Wingate of Wilbraham and Hampden for all their loving care.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Christa Bressette to Beacon Hospice, 815 Worcester St., Springfield, MA 01151, or to Divine Mercy Parish, 2267 Main St., Three Rivers, MA 01080.
