Beatrice passed away in the Maples Home for Seniors, Tavistock. She was born in South Easthope Township, Perth County a daughter of the late Daniel and Salome (Erb) Brenneman. She was a member of Tavistock Mennonite Church and was a long time member of the former Athlone Women's Institute. She married Ivan Jake Bender in East Zorra Township on August 27, 1941. He predeceased her on August 10, 2000. She was predeceased by her daughter, Shirley Bender in infancy; brothers, Roland Brenneman in infancy and Lester Brenneman; by brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Nelson Bender, Delton and Lavelle Bender and Armand Bender.
