Betty B. Bowersox, 80, of Country Club Road in Carlisle, died Wednesday June 28, 2006, at her home.
Born on Aug. 30, 1925, in Carlisle, she was a daughter of the late Robert C. and Pearl Hall Brenneman.
Betty was employed with the Navy Depot, and had more than 20 years of service. She was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church in Carlisle.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Robert Harman Bowersox; a sister, Mary Jane Wilson of Carlisle; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Lucille M. Sheaffer and Emma Weaver; and a brother, Lee Brenneman.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 3, in the Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home, 219 N. Hanover St., Carlisle, with the Rev. Charles A. Brophy officiating. Burial will be in the Letort Cemetery, Carlisle. Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. Monday until the time of service at the funeral home.
