Mrs. Bridget Brennan, who made her home in Edina the last two years with her daughter, Mrs. Mary Moran, died early Monday morning of old age after being bedfast for two weeks. She was 84 years old last May 5, and was born in County Mayo, Ireland.
Funeral services were conducted at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning at St. Joseph's Church here by the Rev. Terence Mullins. Burial was in the new Catholic cemetery.
Two daughters survive, Mrs. Moran at whose home death came, and Mrs. Jack Hangauer of Spokane, Wash., with whom Mrs. Brennan lived before coming to Edina. She leaves also thirteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Brennan came to the United States fifty years ago and lived in Iowa, where her husband, Patrick Brennan, died. About thirty years ago Mrs. Brennan and her family, which at the time included two sons, who are now dead, moved to Butte, Mont. From there Mrs. Brennan went to the home of her daughter in Spokane.
