Doris T. Wehner Brennan, 81, formerly of Frederick, Maryland, passed away on October 16, 2016 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN. Born on October 27, 1934 in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the only child of Alvin and Alma Davies Wehner.
Doris grew up in Baltimore, MD and moved to Frederick in 1973 with her husband and family where she was employed as a secretary at Home Paramount Pest Control Company. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Frederick.
She is survived by three sons, Michael P. Brennan of Hermitage, TN; Kevin F. Brennan and wife Melinda Crawford Brennan of Old Hickory, TN, and John T. Brennan and wife Annette Offutt Brennan of Ranson, WV; six grandchildren: Kristen Brennan Carmi and husband Ronan Carmi of El Segundo, CA, Ashley M. Brennan of Baltimore, MD, Lauren Brennan Smith and husband Bryan Smith of Hendersonville, TN, Brooke M. Brennan of Nashville, TN, Joseph P. Brennan and Daniel Q. Brennan both of Ranson, WV; great-grandsons Samuel Carmi and Shai Carmi both of El Segundo, CA; sister-in-law, Patricia Hunter of Forrest Hill, MD; niece, Jean Marie Lewis of Forrest Hill, MD; and a grand-niece, Rachel Lewis of Forest Hill, MD. She is also remembered by many friends.
Doris is predeceased in death by her husband, John W. Brennan (1932-2009), her parents Alvin Wehner (1902-1975) and Alma Davies Wehner (1906-2008), and a daughter Mary Patricia Brennan (1964).
The funeral Mass will be held at 10am on Monday, October 24, 2016 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 112 East Second Street in Frederick, MD, and interment will follow in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church Cemetery.
