An aged Weedsport couple died within three days of each other, the wife last Friday and the husband on Sunday. Both were patients in the same nursing home in Auburn. Mrs. Katherine Breen Mullarkey, born about 80 years ago in Mentz, was buried in St Joseph's cemetery, Weedsport Saturday. Her husband, John Mullarkey, died the next day and his funeral was Wednesday.
Both funerals were at the Kelly funeral home in Weedsport with service also at St. Joseph's
Mr. Mullarkey was born about 90 years ago in England. Only
nephews and nieces survive the couple. Both were members of St Joseph's church. They lived for about 45 years in Liberty st, Weedsport.
