Beatrice E. Ayers, 89, former Shelbyville resident, died
at 5 a.m. today at the Waldron Health Care Home where she had been a resident for five years.
A housewife, Mrs. Ayers had lived most of her life in Shelby County, moving here from Kentucky where she'd taught School.
A daughter of John and Maria Breeding, she was born Aug. 8, 1893, in Adair County, Ky.
She was married in 1920 to Samuel Ayers who died on Oct. 11, 1950.
