Funeral services for Alvin Bray, 72, a resident of the New Haven area, who died August 2, at his home, will be held today, Wednesday, at 2 p.m. The Reverend Joseph Nesheim, pastor will be in charge of the rites at Our Savior's Lutheran Church and burial will be at Hanlontown. C. R. Champion and Sons are making the arrangements.
Alvin Lorris Bray was born February 20, 1909, in Hanlontown, the son of Elmer and Helen Hauge Bray. He was married to Genevieve Larson February 22, 1931.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Melvin Davis (Myrna) of Mason City and Mrs. Mickey (Marilyn) Halverson of Geneseo, Illinois; one son, Dennis of Austin; nine grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Andy Austin of Lake Mills and Mrs. Thelma Lund of Mankato.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
