Birth: 1794

North Carolina, USA
Death: 1853

They had at least 6 children.
His name was probably John Harmon Bray, but he went by Harmon.
He was son of Mathias Bray and Isabel Edwards.
Most of his family are buried at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Randolph County, N.C.
In the 1820 tax list, Capt. Lathams District, John Bray had 500 acres on Fork Creek. John had no white polls which indicates he was over 50 years of age.
In Capt. H. Brays' District were Methias Bray , Junr. 200 acres adj. William Waldon, Methias Bray of John 250 acres adj. Harmon Bray, Methias Bray, Senr. 405 acres adj. Harmon Bray.
Methias Bray, Senr. was also over 50.
Capt. Bray's District was in the southeast corner of Randolph County.
Chatham County is to the east; Moore Co. is to the south. Capt. Lathams' District was directly to the west of Capt. Brays' District.
It looks like Fork Creek was in both districts.
