Math Brausen was born November 5, 1894, in Buckman township. He married Kate Maidl in Buckman 28 years ago.

The Brausens had just purchased the Rhinehart Hesch home in the south end of town. His death occurred at the farm home in Agram township.

Besides Mrs. Brausen, a family of seven mourns the father's departure; Mrs. John Bednar, St. Paul; Ernest, Pierz; Mrs. Michael Zyvoloski, Jr., Little Falls; and Leonard, Leroy, Donald and Clifford, at home.

Also surviving are the brothers and sisters: Jake and Peter Brausen, Genola; Henry Brausen, Idaho; Mrs. Ed Vogtlin and Mrs. Nick Sahr, Hillman; Mrs. John Adams, Little Falls; and Mrs. Joe Weiling, California.
