She was a daughter of the late Clay and Junie Spencer Brashears born at Ashland, Kentucky on April 22, 1927. She was a homemaker and loving mother. She is survived by 2 sons, Glen Banks (Laura) and Arthur Wayne Banks both of Campton, Kentucky; 2 daughters, Geneva Tolson (Bob) and Mary Linkous both of Campton, Kentucky; 8 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and 1 sister, Hettie Tolson of Hazel Green, Kentucky. She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnnie A. Banks; 1 daughter, Reva Banks; 1 great-grandchild; her parents, Clay and Junie Spencer Brashears; 3 brothers, Lonnie Brashears, Lloyd Brashears, and Arlie Brashears; and 3 sisters, Beulah Brashears, Ruby Brashears, and Verna Watkins. She also leaves behind a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Serving as pallbearers; Hank Tolson, Raleigh Tolson, John Linkous, Travis Banks, Jesse Nickell, Ricky Forester, and Derrick Forester.
