Services for Mrs. Brasfield are held July 14
Last rites for Mrs. Bertha Dacus Brasfield were held July 14 at 3:30 p.m. at the Milligan Springs Baptist Church.
Officiating were Rev. Arnold Jacks and Rev. Mills. Burial was in the church cemetery, Lee Funeral Home of Winona in charge.
Mrs. Brasfield died the previous day at the Kilmichael Hospital. She was 89 years old.
Surviving are five children, T.T. Brasfield and Mrs. Hammond Caffey of West Memphis, Arkansas; Fonnie Brasfield of Eupora; Mrs. Everette Mitchell of Stewart; and Mrs. C. D. McGarrh of West Point; 16 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Harlord Brasfield, Irby Mitchell, A. N. Hall, Jim Brasfield, John Brasfield, and Richard Mills.
