Mrs. Laura Barker, 48, ended her life yesterday by shooting herself with a revolver at her residence. She was the wife of Dr. A. W. Barker. Mrs. Barker was suffering form a nervous ailment and had returned from St. John's hospital last Friday.

Surviving are her husband and two brothers, John Brasfield and B. L. Brasfield.
