John was born Feb. 19, 1934, in Wichita Falls. He loved the Colorado mountains, fishing, hunting and making people laugh. Humor, playfulness and laughter were his greatest gifts and will be his most cherished legacy.
Survivors include his daughters, Elizabeth Brannan of Arlington and Elaine Brannan Miles of Wichita Falls; son-in-law Dave Miles, and grandson C.J. Miles.
