CWO Thomas Foster Brannon was a WWII Prisoner of War according to Navy Records. I currently do not have any more information on where or when he was released. According to my Aunt (sister of Mary Nellie Davis), it was thought he was dead. My Aunt Nellie had not heard from him and the Navy was listing him as missing in action. She proceeded with a legal divorce to go on with her life. And then, he is released afterwards. I am being told, he was probably held in a Japanese Prison Camp. I am going to see if I can get more info. The main thing, he was a POW.
