She died Friday, Feb. 19, 2010.
She was a retiree of the Pillsbury Company and a member of the Colgate Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, James Kendell Sharp and his wife Vernita; granddaughters, Ashley and Amanda Sharp; step-granddaughter, Beth Branham; two step-grandsons, Channing and Joe Branham; two brothers, Charles Stanton and his wife, Maydonna; Conroy Stanton and his wife Pat; two sisters, Sue Constant; Winona Hawkins and her husband, Ronnie; and many loving nieces, nephews, friends and a special friend, Jason Brumsfield.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Bobby G. Branham; her father and mother, Lawrence and Eula Stanton; three brothers, Franklin, Eugene and Larry Stanton; and three sisters, Estella Dennis, Louise Downs and Lorene Haycraft.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 3 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Contributions may be made to the Leukemia Society, American Heart Association or Lung Association. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
