Lydia (Brandt) Prince passed away on Sunday, Feb 3, 2013 at Spring Creek assisted living facility in Meridian, Idaho. Mom was 98 years and 81 days old when she passed. Cause of death, natural causes.
She was born Nov. 13, 1914 in Denver, Colorado.
Mom was preceded in death by her husband, James L. Prince, of Weiser; parents: Carl and Catherine Brandt; brothers, Carl Brandt and wife, Florence, and David Brandt and wife, Lydia, all of Colorado; and her grandsons, Andrew J. Prince and Daniel J. Prince, of Boise.
Survivors include sons, David J. (Darlene) Prince, Lenox R. (Beatriz) Prince, and William T. (Sheila) Prince; daughter, Mary Alice Knuth and companion, James Hyde; 19 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Mollie Frasier, of Weiser, and Mary (Simon) Hancock, of NM; brother, Daniel (Nona) Brandt, of NM; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held from 5 pm to 7 pm, Friday, Feb 8th at Bowman Funeral Parlor, Garden City. A viewing from 10 am to 10:45 am will precede funeral services at 11 am, Saturday, Feb 9th at the LDS church, 4921 N. Mitchell St., Boise.
Burial will follow at Hillcrest Cemetery, Weiser, Idaho at 2 pm, Saturday.
