Suggested edit: George Nelson Brandow was a surveyor, then served in the county clerk's office as clerk and deputy. He was the on of Nelson and Mary Emeline Kipp Brandow and brother of Laura Frances (Mrs. John Coumbe). In 1866 he married Miss Calantha Spencer who survives him.
