"Mrs. Helen L. Brandle passed away Monday, Jan. 17, 1983, at Maccabee Gardens. Age 70 years. Helen L. Karkowsky was born Dec. 24, 1912, in Saginaw, living here all of her life. She was married to Martin Brandle on Dec. 26, 1931. He predeceased her April 4, 1976. She was a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church. Surviving are two sisters and a brother-in-law, Arnold and Ann Wachner; and Mrs. Alice Dunlop, all of Saginaw. Three sisters and one brother predeceased her. She also, leaves several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will take place 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Case Chapel, 409 Adams St., Rev. Robert W. Shine will officiate, with burial in St. Andrew's Cemetery. Friends may call at the chapel after 3:00 p.m. Tuesday where they will meet with relatives at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday for a prayer service."
