Barbara Ann Branch, 76, passed away on 12/11/09, having suffered a long-term illness.

Born in Detroit, Michigan, Barbara had an early passion for travel and began her career with Pan Am Airlines stationed in Honolulu, Hawaii. For years, she owned and operated a travel business and she traveled the world. Barbara was loved for her appreciation of culture, travel, the arts and music, and her wonderful sense of humor and encouragement.

Barbara is survived by her husband David Vigil; her four children Douglas, Karen, Michael, and Lisa; her grandchild Rose; her brothers and sister Richard, Christine, Michael, and Timothy; and her nieces and nephews. Barbara was predeceased by her father and mother, Francis and Gertrude Branch.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, 12/17/09, at the Archdiocese of Denver Mortuary chapel at Mt. Olivet cemetery at 12801 West 44th Ave., Wheat Ridge, CO, at 10:00am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alzheimer's Association . Published in Denver Post on December 16, 2009
