Albert Sidney Branch, 57, Route 2, Franklin died Thursday at 5 p.m. in Petersburg General Hospital after a long illness. A native of Southampton County, he was the son of Robert Franklin and Mrs. Maggie Joyner Branch. He was a farmer, a member of Grace Memorial United Methodist Church. Besides his parents he is survived by five sisters, Mrs. Eliza Joyner of Franklin, Mrs. L.P. Parsons, of Wakefield, Mrs. H.L. Joyner, Jr., of Suffolk, Mrs. R.L. Harrup, Sr. of Sedley, Mrs. A.H. Wills of Windsor; one brother, Robert W. Branch of Franklin. A graveside service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Black Creek Baptist Church Cemetery by Rev. Sidney Cowles. The body if a W.J.M. Holland and Sons Funeral Home, Franklin.
