Carrie Bell was a small woman (about 5'2" - 100 lbs) but was a dynamo of energy and love of her family and life. She married Lewis Curran Bell on January 17, 1900. Lewis and Carrie had six children:
1. James Harold Bell (b 10/14/1900) (d 1/6/1950)
2. Edwin Crews Bell (b 11/25/1902) (d 1/6/1950)
3. Zana Bell James (b 10/10/1904) (d 9/29/1977)
4. Kitty Irene Bell Ramseuer (b 11/22/1907) (d 6/23/1961)
5. Edna Lee Bell Steward (b 3/9/1910) (d about 1993)
6. Agnes Lucile Bell Barton (b10/9/2012) (d 6/22/1973)
After Lewis passed away in 1915, she stayed on the farm until her children were grown. Later she moved to Mississippi to live with her daughter Irene and her family. She traveled each year to visit with her other children. Carrie loved to talk with people for hours on end. She had a wonderful smile and a mischievous sense of humor.
