CAR STRIKES BRADLEY YOUTH
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bradley of Route 1, Flemingsburg, will have the sympathy of their many friends in the tragic death of their only child. Charles Stephen Bradley, age 7.
The little boy was pronounced dead on arrival Sunday at St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington at approximately 7:30 P.M.
The child died of injuries sustained Sunday afternoon when he apparently ran across the road in front of a car driven by Mrs. Raymond Hirschfield of Maysville.
The accident occurred on Kentucky 559 near Wallingfield at 5:10 P.M. He was treated at Fleming County Hospital; then, transferred to Lexington.
State Police at the Morehead Barracks termed the fatal accident unavoidable and no charges were filed.
Young Charles was a loyal and devoted member of the Wallingford United Methodist Church. He would have been a third grader this fall at the Flemingsburg Elementary School.
The little boy was born June~21~1965 to Donald Ray and Karen{turner}Bradley.
In addition to his bereaved parents,he is survived by grand parents, Mr.& Mrs. Floyd Bradley of Flemingsburg and Mr. & Mrs. Charles Turner of Frankfort Kentucky.
Great~grand parents are Mrs. Lela Estill and Mrs. John Planck both of Flemingsburg, Mrs. Mary Cox of Richmond and Roy Bradley of Fleming County Kentucky.
Services were conducted at 2p.m. Wednesday at the Denton Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Brewer officiating. Burial was in the Wallingford Cemetery.
