The funeral for Madeleine Bradley Trail, 80, formerly of 914 Glade St., Martinsville, who died Dec. 9, 2009, at Blue Ridge Rehab Center in Martinsville, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Roselawn Chapel with the Rev. Buster Mize officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Burial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour before the service Monday at the funeral home.
She was born in California on Dec. 13, 1928, to Frank L. and Annis Slagle Bradley. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Trail in 1995; four brothers, Fred, Lloyd, James and Ronald Bradley; and six sisters, Mary, Sylvia, Ruth and April Bradley, Lucille Crowe and Alma Carlson.
She graduated from high school and attended beauty college in Tennessee. She moved to Virginia in 1974 and operated a beauty salon at her home until retiring. She was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are nieces and nephews.
