Lieutenant H.K. Bradford
Lieutenant Horatio K. Bradford of this city died at Fort Bayard, New Mexico on Monday according to word just received here. The body will be brought to Washington for interment in Arlington National Cemetery. Complete funeral arrangements have not yet been made. Lieutenant Bradford was taken ill a short time ago in Texas City with what was said to be typhoid fever. It later developed that he had tuberculosis. Lieutenant Bradford was a student at Central High School, later attending the Army and Navy Preparatory School. He received his Army appointment through President Roosevelt and had seen service in Cuba and the Philippines. He is survived by a brother and two sisters.
