Eunice Boyington Aldrich completed her earthly journey on Jan. 2, 2005.

She was born December 1, 1918 in Manti, Utah to Robert Askew and Ann Davenport Boyington. Eunice was the youngest of seven children, with one remaining brother, Layfe T. Boyington of Layton, Ut. On July 8, 1944 she married Ray M. Aldrich. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. Eunice worked at the Manti Court House for eight years. She worked in the kitchen at the Manti Temple for four years. After 9 1/2 years, she retired from Sanpete Valley Hospital as a nurse's aide. This was a very fulfilling job for her as she loved helping people. She was a talented home-maker. Her yard was her pride and joy. She loved flowers. Most of all she loved her family. She was a life-long member of the LDS Church and served in many callings.

Eunice is survived by a daughter; Helen Rae (Robert) Gent of Beaver, UT; three grandchildren; William (Belinda) Carter of Houston, TX; Elli (Joe) Garza of Wapato, WA; Jenny (Clint) Barney of Washington, UT; ten step grandchildren, and brother Layfe.

Funeral services will be held Sat. Jan. 8, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at the Mt. Pleasant Fifth Ward Chapel, 49 S. State Mt. Pleasant. A viewing will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church prior to the service. Interment will be at the Mt. Pleasant City Cemetery under the direction of Rasmussen Mortuary.
