PORTLAND, Ind., June 4. -- Funeral services for Clarence Boyd, 52, were conducted Friday at 2 p.m. at the home of a sister, Mrs. M. L. Smith, of West Third street. The Reverend M. L. Smith, a brother-in-law, officiated and Interment was in Green Park Cemetery.
He was a son of James and Malissa (Burden) Boyd, and was born in Portland, Feb. 22, 1891. He had lived in Akron, Ohio, for several years.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Smith, of Portland; and Mrs. Essie Franklin, Of New London, Missouri.
