family, here, of the' death, at her
home in Colorado Springs, Col., of
Miss Edith Boyd, only child of Mrs.
McNair Boyd, .formerly of this city.
Miss Boyd had been in ill health for
many years, and Mrs. Boyd took her
to Colorado, hoping that she might
benefit by the milder climate. Her
last illness dated from March 11,
when she was taken with hemorrhage
and had been in a critical condition
thereafter until .her death. Miss
Bpyd's father, Mc'Nair Boyd, was one
of the pioneers of the county and was
widely known. For a number of years
the family resided on College avenue,
in this city, where they owned a pleasant
home. Miss Boyd was 30 years
o£ age. Burial was in Colorado.
