RONALD PATRICK BOYD, of Berryville, Arkansas, was born August 6, 1930, in Chicago, Illinois, son of Charles and Evelyn Boyd. He departed this life Tuesday, January 10, 2017 in Berryville, Arkansas, at the age of 86 years.
Ronald retired from Interpak and Partitions, but was previously employed over twenty-five years with Tyson Foods.
On October 20, 1951 Ronald was united in marriage with Anita J. (Serwitz) Boyd who survives him of their home. He is also survived by his four daughters, Lynn Boyd of Bethesda, Maryland; Leigh Smith and husband, David, of Berryville, Arkansas; Lisa Dickey and husband, Jack, of Berryville, Arkansas; Lori Williams and husband, Monty, of Jasper, Arkansas; one sister, Betty Sauer of Helena, Montana; six grandchildren, Andrew, Emily, Samuel, Hannah, Nicholas and John Parker; three great-grandchildren, Luke, Hudson and Eli; one great-grand dog, Bailey; several nieces, nephews, many friends, loved ones and a host of family and friends in Ireland.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Evelyn Boyd; one brother and one sister.
Visitation will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville. Funeral service will be at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Charles M. Nelson Memorial Chapel in Berryville with Reverend Andrew Hughes officiating. Interment will follow the service at the Berryville Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Nelson Funeral Service, Inc.
