Cassie Lynn Fannon, 20, of Appalachia, VA, passed into her Savior's arms on Wednesday (November 9,2011) at Holston Valley Medical Center, in TN.
She was born in Big Stone Gap, VA and lived most of her life in Appalachia, VA. She was a homemaker, and enjoyed raising her children.
She is survived by her boyfriend, Joshua David Hurley, of the home; her two children, Gabriel Wayne Hurley, and Braylon Conner Hurley also of the home; her mother, Kimberly Annette Bowman of Big Stone Gap VA; her father, Daniel Ray Bowman of Big Stone Gap; her brother, Nathaniel Ray Fannon, and girlfriend, Andrea Spears, of Big Stone Gap; a niece, Cloe Samantha Ann Spears; her brother, Mathew Daniel Bowman of Big Stone Gap; her grandparents, Bill D. and Loretta Fannon of Appalachia, VA; grandmother, Ruth Bowman of Big Stone Gap, VA; a very special friend, Debbie Miller, and a host of beloved aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends on Saturday November the 12th 2011 from 5:00 p.m until 8:00 p.m at Holding Funeral Home,(17 E. 3rd St., N.) in Big Stone Gap, VA
The funeral service will be conducted following the visitation at 8:00 p.m on Saturday the 12th, in the Holding Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Roy Smith officiating.
The graveside service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m on Sunday in the American Legion Cemetery. If you would like to attend we ask everyone to meet at Holding Funeral Home by 2:30 p.m. on Sunday to go in procession to the cemetery.
The family will serve as pallbearers.
