Ben Bowling, 80 year old resident of Crane was found dead late Monday afternoon at his home . Sheriff T.J. Walker, acting coroner, has ruled that death was caused by a heart attack and hot weather. He had apparently been dead about six hours before his neighbors found him. He lived alone, and had been under a Doc's care for a heart problem. Services in the Assembly of God Church Crane, with Rev. Kenneth Miles officiating; burial in the Masonic Cemetery, Crane Missouri. He is survived by one son James O. Bowling Ash Grove, one sister Mrs Charles Akin of Galena one Brother Jim Bowling of Galena, two grand children and two great grand children. He was a retired farmer and mechanic. He had been a long time member of I00F lodge of Crane.
