Angela Joy Crow Bowersock, 67, died Aug. 12, 2010, at her residence surrounded by her family.

She was born Jan. 4, 1943, in North Baltimore, to Herman C. and Gladys Nungester Crow, who preceded her in death. On Sept. 1, 1962, she married Rex L. Bowersock, who survives in Delphos.

Mrs. Bowersock was a bookkeeper for many businesses. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She dedicated her life to her children and grandchildren. Never missing an event, she loved spending time with them. She also enjoyed outings with her siblings. She never missed an Allen County Fair, where she met the love her life, Rex. She also enjoyed flower gardening and vacations at the beach with her family and friends. She never met a stranger. She welcomed and loved many of her "extra" kids into their home along with two special exchange students, Klaus and Jeppe, from Denmark.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Eastern Star, Green Thumb Garden Club, Trinity United Methodist Women, and Sisters in Song Sweet Adelines. She was a past senior high youth fellowship leader for Trinity United Methodist Church, and a past Club Scout leader.

Survivors also include two sons, Dean (Jodi) Bowersock and Aaron (Martina) Bowersock; two daughters, Dawn (Larry) Trentman and Erica (John) Pimpas; four sisters, Darlene (Carl) Hall, Alberta Graeser, Gloria (William) Herr, and Pamela (Preston) Place; two brothers, Herman (Kay) Crow Jr. and Paul (Dawn) Crow; six grandchildren, Taylor and Brett Bowersock; Gabrielle, Jessica and Sophia Pimpas; and Grace Bowersock; in-laws, Randy (Gloria) Bowersock and Rhonda (Ron) Illyes; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by in-laws, W. B. and Margaret Bowersock; and a sister, Dolores Hanes.

Services will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday at Trinity United Methodist Church, Delphos. The Rev. David Howell will officiate. Burial will be later.

Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Harter & Schier Funeral Home, and 1 to 2 p.m. Sunday at the church. An Eastern Star service will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
