Durden-Hudson Funeral Directors announces the death of Mrs. Charlotte Ann Hargraves Bowen, age 80, of Swainsboro, GA at the Emanuel Medical Center on Wednesday, January 15, 2014.
Funeral services will be Friday, January 17, 2014, at 11:00 AM at Nunez Baptist Church with Rev. Lee Gaston and Rev. Wayne Miracle officiating.
Interment will be at Middle Ground Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Statesboro, GA at 2:00 PM.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, January 16, 2014 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
Mrs. Bowen was born in Statesboro, Bulloch County, GA and had lived most of her life in Swainsboro, GA; she was a homemaker and attended Nunez Baptist Church in Nunez, GA, and Fellowship Free Will Baptist Church in Statesboro, GA. She loved to fish; loved attending church and loved watching her Grandchildren play ball. Mrs. Bowen was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel Gordon and Ruby Denmark Rushing; a Sister, Betty Turner; and a brother, Julian Rushing.
